Hi everyone
Just to say that I really enjoyed watching the videos together today and the discussion we had, it was very interesting for me, also to see how your different life experiences also in some way influence the choices you made in putting together your videos. I was also very impressed with the quality of your work!
I have put links to Josipa and Mia's videos here on the blog as they are on YouTube - if anyone else is happy to share their videos with the group, upload them to YouTube and send me the link!
Thanks
Francesca

MY LAST SESSION!
RispondiEliminaHi everyone,
Monday was our last soliya meeting and everyone were a little bit sad because we spend 9 weeks together to talk about a lot of argument.
We had to wait about 10 minutes because the Jordan girls were late, but we talked a little bit about our week and it was fun because Sean slept only one hour and he had ruffled hair.
After this friendly talk we started to compare our ideas about the relationship between West and predominantly Muslim world. The first question was about these relationship in 10 years and all of us wish a better understanding of each other, but it will be an hard work. The second and third question were what our countries need to do for realize our prospective and we agreed that our governments have to share their agenda and try to work together. The fourth question was about what we could do as a group and everyone said we need to start by use the new ways of communication, but we recognize a big problem: the ignorance. There are a lot of people who doesn’t want to discuss about that.
After that we started another activity: we had to answer to 8 questions about our soliya’s mates. All of us learned something from everyone, I learned more from Batool because we had pair activity together. Amy made me more understood, and her had the same feeling about me. All of us have prefer the comments that the people who comes from the other part of the world had made. And our last word were for say thanks to everyone, and a special thanks for Nina and Jasmina (our facilitators) who helped us to have great debates.
At the end Maram started to cry, but we reminded her that we had facebook (not Sabreen) to share our thoughts and to keep in touch.
Sean have the last word: he corrected, for the first time, the Arabic girl about the pronunciation of his name!
